This hotel has something to offer for fans of any mode of transportation. On the east side you can spot the incoming planes and there is a railway nearby. With a room on the west side of the hotel you overlook the highway and look straight ahead to runway 27R. In the distance the terminal buildings are visible. When we were here in 2018 we asked for a high floor room facing the airport, this request was well granted. 

The hotel has a free shuttle connection to any terminal of o'Hare, and with a Metra station nearby this hotel is easily accessible. The rooms are really big and comfortable, and although the windows cannot be opened, they are properly clean and good for spotting, even in the distance. The hotel has a pool and a restaurant, but a food court with a Panda Express among the options is located a short 5 minute walk away. A luxury restaurant is situated across the street. All in all this is a great hotel for spotting getaways at ORD.
