Washington Dulles Airport - Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center

This is the dependance for the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. This amazing museum houses some truely iconic airplanes such as the Boeing Dash-80 (which formed the base for the Boeing 707 and KC-135), Boeing B-29 Enola Gay and the prototype of the F-35 Lightning II. The space collection is also pretty impressive with as main eyecatcher Space Shuttle Discovery. The collection is spread out well and it will take almost an entire day to truely admire this place. When we were here in 2019, we only had a couple of hours unfortunately.
